Jason Dobrovolny is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. Jason completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Southern Maine in 2014. He worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse for years. He became a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in 2019 and licensed Family Nurse Practitioner in 2023. He holds national board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner.
Jason has years of experience overseeing psychiatric care across the lifespan as an Licensed Independent Practitioner at one of the largest psychiatric facilities in the United States. Jason completed two years of supervision working with a Psychiatrist at this location providing care to children and adolescents in an inpatient setting. Jason advanced his degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner to strengthen medical knowledge focusing on the brain-body connections to provide the public with non-pharmacological alternatives to alleviate mental health ailments.
Jason wants to improve access to high quality mental health services in the State of Maine. Jason has lived in Maine for over two decades. He is cognizant of how hard individuals in the State of Maine work. Jason focuses on inner growth, offering opportunities to navigate self-discovery and a sense of belonging.
Jason enjoys spending time sightseeing in the State of Maine. He enjoys visiting State Parks, Bar Harbor, and Southern Maine. Jason is family oriented and cares deeply about individuals across the lifespan.

If you don’t have insurance, I still want to help you in any way I can. Self-pay (out-of-pocket) for medication management with me is $200 per session. If this cost is a concern, please reach out to discuss your options. I am committed to working with you to find a solution that fits your needs.
