I Offer Faith-Affirming Counseling for Adults Ready to Grow

Hello! I'm Alexandrea Wells, LCPC-C

Alexandrea Wells is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Conditional (LCPC-C), who provides virtual therapy to self-pay adult clients across Maine. She works with individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—and who are ready to take a deeper look inward, process life’s challenges, and reconnect with a sense of meaning and purpose.

Alexandrea offers a faith-affirming and client-centered approach to therapy, welcoming clients of all backgrounds and spiritual experiences.

Therapeutic Approach

Alexandrea believes healing begins in a space built on trust, safety, and mutual respect. She brings warmth, presence, and compassion to her work, creating a supportive environment where clients can be honest about what’s weighing on them.

Her therapeutic style is relational and trauma-informed. She draws from a variety of evidence-based approaches, always tailoring her work to the unique needs of each individual. Whether clients are navigating past wounds, current stressors, or a desire for greater self-understanding, Alexandrea walks alongside them with gentleness and intention. Her goal is to help people build insight, resilience, and the confidence to live more aligned and empowered lives.

Alexandrea offers virtual sessions only and is currently accepting self-pay clients. She is passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves, grow through life’s challenges, and move forward with purpose and peace.

Training and Experience

Alexandrea holds both a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Husson University. Her diverse professional experience includes outpatient mental health care, leadership, and administrative roles—all of which inform her ability to support clients navigating complex emotional, relational, and life challenges.

She has experience working with adults managing anxiety, trauma, life transitions, identity questions, and burnout. Her unique blend of clinical training and professional insight allows her to meet clients with both empathy and practical tools for change.

What Clients Can Expect

Clients can expect a collaborative and respectful therapeutic relationship. Alexandrea helps individuals explore the roots of what they’re experiencing, develop greater self-awareness, and gain tools they can carry with them beyond therapy.

Whether working through the weight of past pain, navigating change, or simply wanting to feel more whole and grounded, Alexandrea provides a calm and faith-affirming space to support meaningful growth.

Who do you work with?

I work with adults who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or navigating life transitions, anxiety, or past trauma. If you’re looking to better understand yourself, feel more grounded, and move toward a life that feels aligned and intentional, I’d be honored to support you.

No, I currently offer virtual sessions only. All appointments are held online through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. This gives you the flexibility to attend therapy from the comfort of your own space anywhere in Maine.

I offer a faith-affirming approach, which means I’m open to exploring spiritual or faith-based topics if they’re meaningful to you. While I don’t offer explicitly Christian counseling, I welcome and respect clients from all backgrounds, and I’m happy to integrate faith into our work if that’s important in your healing journey.

I am a self-pay only provider and do not bill insurance directly.

Each session is $135. If you have questions about payment or whether out-of-network benefits might apply, feel free to contact me here. I’m happy to walk you through what to expect.
