Jack is currently pursuing a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) at the University of Kentucky, focusing his research on enhancing mental health treatment within faith-based communities. His goal is to equip faith leaders with the tools and knowledge they need to better support their congregants’ mental health needs.
His approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as recovery-oriented cognitive therapy (CT-R), the structural dissociation model, and EMDR therapy, tailored to fit your unique needs.
He believes in empowering individuals to take control of their mental well-being and cultivate resilience.
Jack is actively engaged in our community. He provides consultations for pastors and faith-based leaders, sharing insights and strategies around mental health.
Additionally, He contributes to research aimed at advancing clinical practice in mental health treatment within faith-based settings.
You might catch him presenting on topics like trauma, recovery, and spirituality at various platforms including the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) conferences, universities, churches, and even on local radio station WHCF.
