Dr. Jack Gatti Hilton is passionate about helping individuals in the Greater Bangor Area navigate through life’s challenges.
With over five years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), He has dedicated himself to assisting clients in overcoming trauma, anxiety, and depression.
He is also the creator of The P.A.T.H. Model – Presence, Alignment, Truth, and Healing—a soul-attuned, neuroscience-informed approach to emotional and spiritual healing that bridges the gap between faith and therapy.
At Greater Love Counseling, he blends spirituality and faith with therapeutic techniques to support your journey to healing.

Jack has earned his Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) at the University of Kentucky, focusing his research on enhancing mental health treatment within faith-based communities. He developed his own modality, the P.A.T.H. Model of treatment. His goal is to equip faith leaders with the tools and knowledge they need to better support their congregants’ mental health needs.
As part of his next season, Jack developed The P.A.T.H. Model—a soul-attuned, neuroscience-informed framework for healing rooted in four essential movements: Presence, Alignment, Truth, and Healing. This model was created for those who feel caught between spiritual longing and emotional pain. It’s designed to help people reconnect with themselves, their faith, and their wholeness—without having to choose between God and therapy.
Jack’s work continues to be shaped by his passion for integrating clinical excellence with spiritual depth, and he remains committed to walking alongside those seeking authentic, transformational healing.
His approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as recovery-oriented cognitive therapy (CT-R), the structural dissociation model, and EMDR therapy, tailored to fit your unique needs.
He believes in empowering individuals to take control of their mental well-being and cultivate resilience.
Jack is actively engaged in our community. He provides consultations for pastors and faith-based leaders, sharing insights and strategies around mental health.
Additionally, He contributes to research aimed at advancing clinical practice in mental health treatment within faith-based settings.
You might catch him presenting on topics like trauma, recovery, and spirituality at various platforms including the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) conferences, universities, churches, and even on local radio station WHCF.
